Me-Made May; The beginning

Here we start Me-Made May. I'm afraid there won't be much chatter today. I'm just happy the weather is nicer this May compared to last year. It's still unusual (we're not usually 27 degrees on May 2) but I prefer it to last year's temperatures.
May 1: Renfrew-Kimono tee and a Hollyburn denim skirt.

May 2: Faux cowl top from a rayon jersey and my giraffe skirt.
Let's hope I'm a little more energetic next week.
I hope everyone else is having a good start to the month.

    1. Thank you. Giraffe is the only jungle print for which I have an affinity. I'm looking forward to reading your blog.

  2. You have a great eye for mixing patterns. Both the kimono top pattern with the blue skirt and the giraffe skirt look great mixed in that way. I have the same inclination - jungle prints aren't my favourite but giraffe I like.

  3. I find many jungle prints are too busy.
A friend of mine used to be crazy for leopard print and would buy incredible lengths of the stuff. I often wondered what she used it all for because it did not show up as a wardrobe staple. A visit to her home showed much of it as furniture covers; interesting but a little overwhelming, especially when the leopard was of the colours-not-found-in-nature variety.
